As a Landscape Estimating Manager trainee, you will learn to plan and price landscaping projects. You will work closely with our team to understand what our customers want and how we can deliver great results within their budget. This job is a starting point for growing your career with us, focusing on learning and developing new skills.

  1. Your Responsibilities
  • Talking to Clients: You will learn to talk to clients to understand their needs and help them plan their landscaping projects.
  • Helping with Estimates: You will help make sure our prices and plans are right for our clients, learning how to do this from experienced managers.
  • Working with Teams: You will help organize how different teams work together to make sure our projects are done well.
  • Working with Budgets: You will learn to work with financials and estimation tools to help budget for projects.
  • You are detail-oriented and good at Keeping in Touch. You will help keep everyone—clients, managers, and our team—informed and up to date on proposals and projects.
  1. Who You Are
  • Education: Some college or tech school experience and a high school diploma are great. We’re looking for someone eager to learn more about the landscaping business and grow into the job.
  • Experience: You don’t need to have done this job before. We’re looking for someone ready to learn.
  • Computer Skills: You should know how to use basic computer programs like Microsoft Office. We’ll teach you how to use any special software we have.

Physical Work:

The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing these duties, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands-to-finger movement, reach with hands and arms, and be able to listen and talk clearly. 

The employee must stand and walk for extended periods when engaging outside the office. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The work environment characteristics described herein represent those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
