What You’ll Do:
As a Landscape Technician, you will play an important role in our field team’s daily work and success. You will assist with landscaping tasks at various commercial and residential properties using hand tools, power tools, or other equipment. You should be good at taking direction and performing tasks efficiently as directed by Goldenstate Landscapes management, supervisors, and crew leaders.
These tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Weeding: Remove weeds by hand or using tools like a garden hoe or hula hoe.
- Lawn Care: Maintain lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, removing thatch, trimming, and edging around flower beds, walkways, and walls.
- Apply Treatments: Safely mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides on grass, shrubs, and trees using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Enthusiastic and dependable
- Able to safely work with equipment like power saws and cutters
- Eligible to work in the United States
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands for finger movement; reach with hands and arms; listen and talk clearly. The employee is required to stand and walk for long periods when working outside the office environment. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and is encouraged to seek assistance for anything over this amount. The employee must be able to work in extreme conditions (temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit) and in direct sunlight for extended periods. Shade will be provided as necessary. The employee must also be able to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day.
